Summer camp 2024
The last shift of the city's children's camp has come to an end, with 84 children attending 7 shifts and leaving vivid memories for our visitors. During each shift, our participants had the opportunity to take a break from gadgets, enjoy the fresh air and take part in exciting activities.
In 2 months we managed to hold 7 sessions for children aged 7 to 11
July:
1 SHIFT: 1-5/07 - with a native English speaker
2 SHIFT: 8-12/07 - with a native English speaker
3 SHIFT: 15- 19/07
4 SHIFT: 22- 26/07
Aug:
5 SHIFT: 29.07 - 03/08
6 SHIFT: 05 - 09/08
7 CHANGE: 12 - 16/08
The participants of the first two shifts of the camp had a unique opportunity to learn English with a native speaker who accompanied the children at all times. This made it possible to learn the language not only in theory, but also to use and improve their skills in practice!
The camp offered children a diverse programme that included:
Zootherapy: children interacted with animals, which not only brought them joy but also helped them develop empathy and responsibility.
Communication games with Amiga Migrant psychologists: games are the best format for working with children, helping them to get rid of psychological clamps and learn to communicate freely with peers and older people.
Art workshops: our participants had the opportunity to create their own works of art, developing their creativity.
English classes: during the camp, the children strengthened their English skills
Games in Czech: we helped children to improve their knowledge of the Czech language, which contributed to their better socialization and adaptation.
Creative classes in Ukrainian: during these classes, children developed their native language skills and deepened their cultural knowledge.
Workshops by experienced doctors: specialists held workshops where children learned about healthy lifestyles and the importance of taking care of their health.
Walks in the park: daily walks in the fresh air were not only a pleasant rest, but also an opportunity to explore the world around them in the company of friends.
Meals: Every day the kids had snacks and full lunches from our friends and long-time partners Fit Kitchen.
Each shift was a great opportunity for the children not only to relax, but also to learn new things, make friends and spend time in a fun and creative atmosphere. We sincerely thank all the campers and their parents for their trust and support.
