Psychological rehabilitation of children with the help of animals
At our centre, we provide free psychological support for refugee children, including with the help of specially trained animals: canistherapy and zoo therapy.
Canistherapy is one of the methods of physical and psychological rehabilitation with the help of specially trained dogs. With the help of four-legged friends, children can fight emotional tension and stress, and be filled with good emotions.
During pet therapy sessions, children can interact with a goat and a mini-horse. During the sessions, children can feed, pet, and simply get to know the new animals better.
Communication with animals helps children to relieve excess tension and improves their socialization skills. In addition, children get to know their peers and make friends, as joint sessions bring them very close.
Sessions of canistherapy and zoo therapy bring a lot of happiness to many refugee children!
